Kenny G's Malibu Mansion Controversy: Concealing Wealth or Fueling Media Frenzy?

Posted by Joseph Lento | Jan 26, 2024 | 0 Comments

The melodrama involving famed sax player Kenneth Gorelick, better known as "Kenny G," and his former spouse, Lyndie Benson, has been surfacing for air in tabloids since they split in 2023. The latest chapter, as detailed by People.com in November 2023, addresses the sax player's alleged claims regarding his growing inability to meet his alimony demands. The story goes on to cite Ms. Benson's accusations that Kenny G. was attempting to reduce alimony payments, citing a downturn in his career while at the same time raking in a staggering $600,000 monthly rental profit from a Malibu property.

Further intensifying the dispute, Ms. Benson also accused Kenny G. of concealing shared assets and breaching their divorce agreement. Although the couple's settlement allotted Ms. Benson a 25% profit on a $40-million-dollar property, she claimed that Kenny G. had allegedly refused to sell to keep the profits from her, violating their divorce settlement.

While most couples aren't arguing over multiple Malibu mansions, there are many instances where one spouse may think they can get away with hiding marital funds. Shedding Light on Concealed Assets in Divorce Battles

Kenny G's situation is a prime illustration of the complexities involved in high-profile divorces and divorces where one spouse continues to hide marital assets from their ex-partner. Although you may suspect that your ex has been financially concealing information for years, you may struggle with why anyone would believe you.
